So I was thisclose to not working out today. I just didn’t want to do it. I was hungry and I had myself convinced if I ate lunch I would be too full to workout. Then I told myself to suck it up, I had a small turkey sub on whole wheat from Quizno’s and made my way to the gym. I only do about an hour workout per visit. Usually 30 minutes of cardio followed by 10-15 minutes stretching and 15-20 minutes of free weights/lunges. So I know that’s no Biggest Loser kind of workout, but it’s way more than I use to do. So I am proud of myself for not falling back into my usual excuses and actually being active. I decided to treat myself to a cup of low fat chocolate milk, a good after-workout drink I’ve read, and now I have 15 minutes before I have to be at my desk. Go me!
